School Rules

1. No lunging in top school
2. All jumps to be put away tidily
3. Pick up all droppings
4. Ask if you can join if someone in school already
5. Tell person you are sharing with when you are leaving
6. Pass left to left
7. The school is for working your horse/pony, not for wandering around on your phone
8. If you have booked the school and find you can't use if please let a member of staff know
9. Report any breakages at time of happening
10. Keep gate shut at all times
11. Usual conditions apply when riding in school regarding correct clothing

Riding is a Risk Sport

1. Only ride a suitable horse or pony (i.e. your own)
2. Always wear correct clothing
3. Always wear an up to date hat with chin strap done up (example Pas 015:1998 or 2011 with BSI kitemart)
4. If you have had a fall and hit your head you should change your hat
5. Always wear long or short riding boots no wellies or trainers
6. Only ride if conditions are suitable
7. If jumping or hacking Moor End livery strongly recommends a current back protector Beta 2009 or 2018 level 3
8. All children should be supervised when in any of the schools

Risk Assessment for all Areas

1. Only staff or owners to enter any stable or field with horse in
2. Correct foot wear to be worn on yards at all times
3. All tools to be put away in designated area
4. Any breakages to be reported to Sarah at time of happening
5. When leading horses to walker or field, gloves and hard hats should be worn
6. Use salt provided if ground is icy (yards and track to walker and schools will be done)
7. Lifting of wet hay nets to be done in pairs
8. Only qualified staff to use Quad and school leveler
9. Use of horse walker only by trained users i.e. been shown and signed a disclaimer
10. Any staff member that is unsure of handling a certain horse please report to Sarah for assistance
11. No unsupervised children under 15yrs at any time
12. Care should be taken at all times around yards and fields as horses and ponies can be unpredictable.
13. No feeding anyone`s horse tip bits at any time
14. Be aware when ground wet, it becomes slippery 
15. Keep yards tidy so nothing is a trip hazard
