Meet the Staff

Sarah
Burton Owner/Instructor Sarah is a BHS qualified instructor and has over 30 years of teaching experience, she enjoys teaching both children and adults of all ages and abilities. She is also chief instructor with the Newmarket & Thurlow Pony Club She holds a first aid qualification, is CRB certified, has child protection training and is also an RDA instructor. Sarah competes at various levels most recently at Novice level eventing on Sublime (stable name Chester). She enjoys bringing on young horses particularly the beautiful Maori (pictured left). |

Jane Beanland Part Time Groom Jane started working at Moor End in 1995, a move to France in 2000 & 3 children later Jane returned to the yard in 2011 and is really enjoying her time there with her old & new found favourite horses and friends alike. She is a BHSAI Instructor and holds an Assistant Grooms Diploma. |

Olivia Haylock Instructor/Groom Olivia has completed her stage 1 and is currently working on her teaching certificate. She has been at Moor End for 2 years since she graduated from Sparsholt College, having completed her equine studies. Olivia holds a first aid qualification. |

Lily Merrit Apprentice Lily has been working as an apprentice at Moor End since Summer 2011. She is training for her BHS exams. |

Andrzey Olszewski Maintenance Man Andrew has worked at Moor End for 5 years. Originally from Poland, he is responsible for the upkeep of the yard and maintaining/building the cross country course. |

Tracy Peacock Head Girl/Instructor/ Groom Tracy has worked at Moor End for 22 years. She is a BHS qualified instructor and an NVQ level 2 assessor. She is CRB certified and has child protection training. She is head girl at the yard and has extensive horse expertise. |

Amanda Stroke James Groom Amanda joined the Moor End staff in late Summer 2011 and is proving to be an invaluable member of the team. |
